Curriculum Overview
Curriculum Aims
Our aim at St Claudine’s Catholic School for Girls is that all our students develop into well-rounded individuals, who fulfil their potential and are in the best position to confidently move on from our school into the next phase of their professional lives. In order to achieve this, we provide them with high quality learning experiences both in and outside lessons rooted in a carefully designed curriculum. Our community is rich, diverse and inclusive: our curriculum needs to be adaptive and flexible to meet the needs of all students and ensure they all meet their potential. We believe that the best way we can achieve this is an accelerated Key Stage 3 programme followed by a foundational year preparing for GCSE study, then an enhanced Key Stage 4, a varied and broad offer at Key Stage 5, all supplemented by a rich extra-curricular and educational visits provision.
