Our School Library

St Claudine’s has a busy, welcoming and well-resourced library that is open to students before school from 8am, at break times, lunch times and after school.

We encourage our students to develop a reading habit that supports their studies but also promotes reading for pleasure.

The library catalogue is available online, and we encourage students and parents to use it browse the books, make recommendations and leave reviews.
 

Borrowing

Students are able to borrow two books for two weeks at a time. Manga loans are just one week. Books can be renewed if needed for longer, unless another student has reserved them. Overdue books will be chased in form-time and by communication with parents. If a library book is lost or damaged we ask that parent/ carers pay the £6 book replacement charge via Arbor.
