Computer science plays an important role in creating technology that improves society, as we live in a digital age where most industries rely on data and software programmes. Computer Science & IT impacts everything, from scientific research to health development, transport, banking, communications and more, even everyday objects like cars, fridges, microwave ovens, or door locks are now connected to our Wi-Fi networks and personal assistants.

The computer science department aim for all learners to become digitally literate and develop into effective practitioners, fully prepared and equipped with the right tools to become active participants in the digital world.

Our broad and balanced curriculum is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills and understanding to live and work in a technological world. Students will develop a wide range of digital skills that will prepare them for the future in a rapidly changing and competitive world.
